Kimberly received a dual Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Georgia, where she focused on psychopharmacology and the systemic effects of pharmaceuticals. The medical field, however, did not provide adequate answers for addressing her interest in a sustainable and practical health care system. As a result, Kimberly traveled abroad, mapping and tapping into Eastern and Western cultures alike.
Upon returning from her sabbatical, she enrolled into the Classical Chinese Medicine program offered at the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM). She graduated four years later with a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine—a degree that gives her a solid sense of compassion and a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic nature of health, pathology, and other dualistic patterns of thought. You could say that Kimberly still embarks on far-flung expeditions to learn more about the ancient arts of healing, yet this time she finds herself centralized in the southwestern United States.
It is here that Kimberly climbs upon rockfaces with little rubber shoes, her pursuits of poetry abound, and she is able to focus on optimum health for herself and for her local community.
